We then attended to a reported leaking fibreglass pool in Morningside. We noted the water level was well below the skimmer box but above the return jet. We pressure tested the return line which held pressure. We then entered the pool noting a number of hairline cracks in the fibreglass shell. We inspected and replaced the hydrostatic valve noting other hairline cracks in the main drain. We replaced the hydrostatic valve and applied an epoxy bead around the main drain. We encouraged our client to re fill the pool and to conduct a bucket test. The pool is in need of renovation.
