Hydrostatic Valve Replacement in Albany Creek (Moreton Bay)

Hydrostatic Valve Replacement in Albany Creek (Moreton Bay)

This morning we attended to a reported leaking concrete pool in Albany Creek. Initially, we checked the pump filtration system before pressure testing the return lines- this is where the water level had dropped to. During our testing, we witnessed a slight drop in pressure. This was later identified as been to due to a complicated pump set-up and a series of older isolation, 3-way valves which were allowing water to pass through. As a series of elimination, we determined that the hydrostatic valve could be a probable cause of the leak source due to its age (7 years) and the significant rainfall that we have witnessed in the past months. In order to be as cost effective as possible, we entered the pool and changed the hydrostatic valve.
