02 May Vinyl lined swimming pool leak detection & repair in Doolandella
We then attended to a reported leaking vinyl lined pool in Doolandella, our client phoned us on Sunday because his pool had dropped a lot of water very quickly. Our client had found a hole and had attempted to patch it himself
We noted the pool was only 1/2 full with the skimmer box and return jet exposed.
We used our Leak Trac 2400 to test the integrity of the vinyl floor and wall which located 2 leak sites. We entered the pool and dye tested confirming two leaks before applying epoxy putty patch over the the small tear.
The hole the client located was a hug tear round 100ml long. We applied a vinyl patch over the tear them applied epoxy putty in an attempt to resolve the issue.
Tears of that size and nature are difficult to resolve which may require the whole liner be replaced.
We provided our client access to the videos and images of the leak sites.
