We then attended to a reported leaking fibreglass pool in Camira, we checked the pump filtration system under load before examining and dye testing the skimmer box. We then used our hydrophone microphone to test all the penetrations namely the skimmer box, main drain , hydrostatic valve, 2 x return and 3 x spa jets, we then dye tested all the penetrations noting both tests directed us to one spa jet where dye was seen escaping and the sound of water running was detected. We discussed options with our client and we then proceeded to putty over the spa jets as they have never been used. We then entered the pool and replaced the leaking hydrostatic valve. Our client was very thankful for the prompt attendance.
