20 Feb Vinyl lined swimming pool testing in Rochedale South
We then attended to another reported leaking vinyl pool leak in Rochedale South, we had been working with this client for some time now as in mid 2021 we located and repaired a failed suction line from the pool back to the pump. Our client advised he was now losing water again.
So we inspected and dye tested the skimmer box and 4 x return jets, tested the multi port valve on the sand filter before pressure testing both the suction and return concealed plumbing. Finally we entered the pool and conducted an inspection over the the entire slate area of waterline tiles and steps. Slate is a porous material and water can seep through the slate and grout lines. We noted the slate waterline tiles were in poor condition and the client advised the water level stabilised on those tiles without reaching the vinyl liner.
