This morning we attended to a reported leaking concrete swimming pool in Sunnybank Hills, we tested the multi port valve on the sand filter before inspecting and dye testing the skimmer box. We then pressure tested the suction and solar provision concealed plumbing which held pressure. We attempted without success to test the return line due to a plumbing confguration. We then used a hydrophone microphone to test the penetrations namely the skimmer box, main drain, hydrostatic valve, return jets, before entering the pool and dye testing all the above. We checked and reseated the hydrostatic valve before inspecting the waterline tiles noting some gaps in the grout and around one of the return jets. We briefed our client before discussing some further testing the client can do.
