This morning we attended to a pool prime issue in Boondall, our client was losing prime when the pool cleaner was connected. We inspected the pump filtration system under load. We then inspected the skimmer box and noted a hairline crack. We photographed, showed our client then puttied over. We then pressure tested the suction line from the skimmer box back to the pump. We noted a loose fitting in the suction line near the pump. We removed tested the line which was secure then reconnected the pipe. We also noted the the pump basket was full of debris which would also effect the prime under load.
