This morning we attended to swimming pool leak in Bundall, we had been to the property previously and located a repaired a damaged return pipe. We tested the multi port valve, inspected and dye tested the skimmer box, return jets and main drain incl hydrostatic valve. We then noted previous putty applied to the skimmer face which was flaking off. We removed the old and replaced with new putty bead. We entered the pool and inspected and tested the main drain and hydrostatic valve. We puttied around the outside of a return jet with an obvious crack. Finally we inspected the waterline tiles locating a gap in a silicone bead which was drawing dye. Our client was shown the leak before we applied a putty bead and re dye testing to find it now secure.
