Concealed water leak testing and swimming pool leak detection and repair on acreage property in Chandler

This morning we attended to a concealed water leak and swimming pool leak on acreage property in Chandler. We first conducted a series of tests on the water supply which resulted in a total leak of 720 litres per day which comprised of a hot water line leak of 572 litres and 144 litres in the supply line. Given the distance from the water to the house , we advised our client that the 144 litres leak was not economical to attempt to locate on acreage. We referred our client to another contractor who specialises in detecting and repairing copper pipes in slabs.
We then turned our attention to the swimming pool, we tested the pump filtration under load, before inspecting the skimmer box noting a large crack, we dye tested confirming that it was leaking. We then hydrophoned and dye tested the main drain, lights and 3 x return jets. We noted a crack in the middle return jet which was again dye tested and found to be leaking. We applied a epoxy putty to the skimmer and return jet before replacing the hydrostatic valve.
We talked through all results with our client before we phoned and briefed the contractor to attend.
