This morning we attended to a reported swimming pool leak in Indooroopilly, after obtaining background information we inspected the skimmer box noting it has been previously puttied. we noted a small crack in the skimmer box which we puttied.
We then inspected the pump filtration system noting the shut off valve to the waste pipe was note completely closed. We closed off the valve then tested the valve to find it leaking to waste when closed. We supply and installed an in line 40mm shut off valve and flexible joiner which resolved the leak. We then entered the pool and dye tested the front of the skimmer note noting another crack of the grout line. We puttied over that site as well. We briefed our client along the way.
