We then attended to a reported leaking pebblecrete pool in Chapel Hill, after obtaining background we tested the multi-port valve before dye testing and inspecting the skimmer box and return jets. We then used a hydrophone microphone and tested the main drain which gave an indication of a leak site. We then entered the pool and replaced the 40mm hydrostatic valve before removing the old putty around the skimmer drain before re applying an epoxy bead to the the area. A dye tested indicated no leaks. We then re tested the drain using the hydrophone microphone which confirmed the previous leak noise had disappeared.
