Yesterday we attended to a reported water leak on acreage property in Capalaba, our client plumber contacted us to locate a leak on his grandparents property. A water meter test revealed a leak of 2880 litres per day. A pressure test failed. After tracing the line we introduced a combination of compressed air and tracer gas before locating the leak at the side of the house in the garden bed. Our client was onsite throughout the detection and was going to complete the repair. We afforded a pensioner discount before assisting him to seek a rebate through his water provider of some of the increased costs of the water usage.
