This morning we attended to a reported leaking pool in Ashmore. We checked the multi port valve after reviewing another contractors invoice who had previously attended. We then used our hydrophone microphone to check the main drain which gave a leak indication. We also checked two slight structural cracks in the concrete shell. We then entered the pool and dye tested the main drain which had previously been patched in some areas. A distinct leak was located where the main drain meets the concrete. We applied an epoxy putty bead around the whole main drain before plugging the main drain. We had intended to replace the hydrostatic valve but we were unable to the uniqueness of the valve.
