Spa Pool Leak Detection in Boronia Heights

Spa Pool Leak Detection in Boronia Heights

This morning we attended to a reported leaking spa bath at a complex in Boronia. We noted the water level was sitting just above the bottom of the skimmer box . We inspected the pump filtration system and noted the waste line was open. We phoned and discussed this with our client who confirmed this was not the issue. We inspected and dye tested the skimmer box and the 6 spa return jets. We then pressure tested the skimmer box back to the pump and from the main drain back to the pump. Both lines held pressure. We then attempted to pressure test the return line which consists of the 6 return jets as well as 3 spa breathers. These breathers are extremely difficult to seal and after 3 attempts we were unsuccessful. We then entered the pool and replaced the hydrostatic valve and conducted further dye testing inside and outside the return jets and skimmer box. We phoned our client and briefed him accordingly. Further bucket testing will be conducted.
