We recently attended to a reported leaking fibreglass pool in Greenbank, we first checked the multi port valve and then dye tested the skimmer box. We pressure tested the concealed plumbing namely the suction, return lines, solar in and solar our provisions. We then hydrophoned the skimmer box, return jets, solar in and out lines, lights, main drain and the hydrostatic valve before entering the pool and dye testing all penetrations. We then used our Leak Trac 2400 to test the integrity of the fibreglass structure which took us to the hydrostatic valve. Given it was a specific hydrostatic valve, we advised our client to contact the pool supplier who came and changed the valve over without charge. A subsequent bucket test confirmed the pool is now secure.
