We then attended to a reported concealed water leak in Drewvale. A water meter test revealed a leak of 1252 litres per day. A pressure test failed, after introducing a combination of compressed air and tracer gas we identified a likely leak site coming from concrete outside close to the toilet. A small section of concrete was removed,further gas testing was conducted which indicated the leak is coming from under the house slab. We advised the client of our findings and referred a plumber colleague who specialises in re running a new lead in to attend and conduct an assessment. Though this is always possible, it is uncommon for the leak to be located inside the house.
