We then attended to a massive concealed water leak in Runcorn. One of our plumber colleagues requested our assistance in attending on his behalf. Upon our arrival we could see water streaming down from the elevated property down to the kerb. We conducted a water meter test which revealed a leak of 43,200 litres per day, a pressure test failed. After tracing the line we introduced compressed air without success then Tracer gas before we located the general vicinity of the leak adjacent to the steps leading to the house. We excavated before locating a failed 25mm poly joiner which had simply come away. Given the urgency of the matter, our licensed plumber completed the repair before testing the line to find it now secure.. We reinstated the site to the much relief of the tenants.
