We then attended to a reported leaking fibreglass pool in Rochedale. We first obtained some background information then tested the multi port valve, then inspected and dye tested the skimmer box and return jets. We then pressure tested the suction line from the skimmer box back to the pump. We were unable to pressure test the return line due to the plumbing configuration at the pump. We then used a hydrophone microphone to test all pool penetrations. We then used our Leaktrac 2400 to test the integrity of the pool shell. The Leaktrac directed us to an imperfection on a step and the hydrostatic valve. We then entered the pool and dye tested and replaced the hydrostatic valve. Our client was on site and briefed as we progressed.
