This morning we attended to a reported vinyl swimming pool leak in Helensvale. We used our Leaktrac 2400 tested the integrity of the pools vinyl liner. We swept the walls and floors twice before it directed us to a number of possible tears. We entered the pool and dye tested the areas and noted 1 x new tear on the vinyl floor and another previously patched hole was now leaking. We applied an epoxy putty to these sites before dye testing them to find them now secure. We located another old patch and replaced that as a preventative measure going forward. We tested the pump filtration system including the multi port valve. We dye tested around the skimmer box and step beads. We phoned our client and updated him on the test results.
