Yesterday we returned to a pool leak in Cannon Hill, after conducting some initial testing and changed the hydrostatic valve. The client advised the pool was still leaking. We then conducted pressure testing of the concealed plumbing. We tested the suction, solar in and solar out lines all held pressure. We then tested the main return line which did not hold pressure after introducing compressed air and tracer gas, we located the leak vicinity. We excavated to locate a failed 40mm return pipe close to the wall of the pool. As daylight beats us. We showed our client our findings before sending through a quotation to complete the repair by our licensed plumber before testing the line to ensure the line is secure.
