We then attended to a main bathroom shower leak in Ascot. One of our property managers engaged us to test this rental property. We met up with the tenant who provided obtained background information, we then conducted a series of tests which include a water meter test, pressure test, shower breach test, 15 minute drain test, inspection behind tap and shower head cover plates, then a shower base flood dye test. These tests revealed missing silicone behind the shower taps , as well as failed waterproofing membrane under the shower base. We siliconed behind the taps We noted dye leaking into the adjoining ensuite whilst the shower base flood dye test was being conducted. Our licensed repaired some leaking taps whilst on site. We completed a report to send back to the landlord.
