Yesterday we then attended to a reported house leak in Coorparoo , our client was contacted by Urban Utilities advising of a spike in his water charges. We conducted a water meter test which revealed a huge leak of 9600 litres per day. A pressure test failed, we traced the lined and introduced a combination of compressed air and tracer gas before finding the general vicinity of the leak at the side of the house. We commenced excavation and finally located the leak being a failed 25mm poly pipe at a depth of 1.75metres.

Our licensed plumber completed the repair before testing the repair, then the line which was secure. We reinstated the site , leaving our client extremely relieved indeed. We offered a pensioner discount. We assisted our client to seek reimbursement of some of the water charges caused by the concealed leak through Urban Utilities

Trevor and Sam attended my property to detect and repair an underground water pipe leak. They were very professional and experienced with their work. They located the water leak under the concrete slab exactly where it was, using various radar tool and equipment. Once Sam identified the location of the possible leak, Trevor seconded it by doing his own verification. This allow them to neatly cut the concrete slab with precision, minimising any destructive work and damages. They replaced the faulty joints and retested the new connection with compressed air. They were also very meticulous in their work, testing and retesting several times to make sure there is no leak to the new joint, before backfilling it. Definitely gave me great confidence through the entire process, as their experience shows they know what they are doing. Well done guys. Great job!
