This morning we returned to complete a swimming pool plumbing repair in East Ipswich, we conducted a pre purchase inspection in Nov 2020 . We returned to conduct the repairs on the failed return pipework. Our client had removed part of the deck which exposed the leaking 32mm pipe. Our licensed plumber completed the repair, we changed over the hydrostatic valve as a preventative measure going forward. We tested the repair then the whole return line to find the line NOT secure.

We removed more deck and excavated concrete to find a failed 32mm joiner hard against the pool wall. Further leak was identified towards another return jet. We had a discussion with our client and strongly recommended to replace the whole return line as it is clearly compromised. Our client was going to conduct the excavations and call us back to complete the re laying of the return line.
