This morning we attended to a swimming pool leak in Thornlands, our client believed he was loosing more water when the pump was operating. We tested the multi port valve then the concealed plumbing including both the suction and return lines which held pressure. We noted water was running out of the high set water feature on the wall of the pool, we tested the 3 way valve which fed the water feature which failed. We isolated the water feature as this was the cheapest resolution. We then used our hydrophone microphone then entered the pool to dye test the skimmer boxs, return jets , both lights, main drain and hydro static valve. We replaced the hydro static valve then conducted an in pool examination of the pools walls and floors looking for imperfections/cracks etc. We updated our client about the tests conducted.
