Swimming pool leak detection in Norman Park

Swimming pool leak detection in Norman Park

This morning we attended to a reported swimming pool leak in Norman Park. We first tested the multi-port valve on the sand filter before commencing pressure testing the concealed plumbing. We pressure tested the suction and return lines which both held pressure. We then used our hydrophone microphone and tested the main drain, hydrostatic valve, skimmer box, 4 x return jets and two lights . We then entered the pool and dye tested the aforementioned penetrations. We noted what appeared to be a compromised hydrostatic valve. We replaced the valve, We then removed the light fittings and puttied over where the light cable penetrates the wall.
