This morning we attended to a reported swimming pool leak in Victoria Point. We first tested the multiport valve on the sand filter before commencing pressure testing the concealed plumbing. We pressure tested the return plumbing only as the water had dropped well below the skimmer box. We then used the hydrophone microphone and dye tested the skimmer box, main drain and hydrostatic valve and all spa jets and blower holes. We identified the main drain plug was leaking and replaced it and the hydrostatic valve. We then conducted an in pool examination of the pool’s wall and floor looking for any signs of imperfections. Our client was briefed and in attendance through out the inspection.
