Yesterday we attended to a reported water leak in Victoria Point after our elderly disabled client received a high consumption water notice. A water meter tested revealed a leak of 1329 litres per day, a pressure test failed. After tracing the line , we introduced a combination of compressed air and tracer gas before obtaining a high gas reading right beside their newly laid rubber surface driveway. In all likely hood the leak was under the driveway. We discussed options going forward and referred our client to another contractor to quote for a new feed from the meter to the house to avoid excavating their driveway. Our client phoned us to advise she had accepted the new feed option. As always our client’s best interest is our main priority
