This morning we attended to a water leak at an inner suburban secondary college. A water meter test revealed a leak of 14400 litres per day. With the assistance of the onsite groundsman we were able to obtain some background and the layout of the plumbing which included numerous shut off valves. We attempted to introduce compressed air without success before using tracer gas and we were able to identity the highest gas reading under an asphalt carpark. We photographed the location then completed a written report before following up with our school contact about our findings.
