This morning we attended to a house leak in Sunnybank, our client had their plumber out who suggested a leak detector was required. We conducted a water meter test which revealed a very small leak. A pressure test failed, After tracing the line, we introduced compressed air and tracer gas and identified the likely leak location at the front of the property near the water meter. We excavated to find a failed 25 mm poly pipe joiner. Our licensed plumber completed the repair. We then tested the repair and the entire line to find it now secure. We clean up afterwards. Our client was on site throughout and was briefed as we progressed through the detection and repair.
