This afternoon we attended to an upstairs bathroom leak in Tingalpa. We conducted a series of tests which include a water meter test, pressure test, shower breach test, 15 minute drain test, inspection behind mixer cover plate, then a shower base flood dye test. These tests indicated a failed waterproofing membrane under the shower base. We noted water dripping directly under the bathroom . We videoed the leaking water then compiled a report, then discussed our findings with options going forward with our client.
