This morning we attended to a reported water leak in Capalaba, a water meter test revealed a leak of 480 litres per day. A further test was conducted with all the services turned off, did not change the amount. We then conducted a pressure test on the line which showed a drop in pressure confirming a leak on the property.
We traced the line and then introduced compressed air and began listening for the leak with our Sewerin ground microphone. We subsequently came across the leak being a failed outside tap. We replaced the internal tap and washer before re pressurising the line to find it now secure.

A water meter test now showed no movement. The line is now secure.
