This afternoon we attended to a house leak in Sunnybank, a water meter test revealed a leak of 9600 litres per day. A pressure test failed, After tracing the line, we introduced compressed air and tracer gas located the general vicinity of the leak. We excavated to find a failed 25 mm poly pipe damaged under tree roots in the front yard. We further excavated so our licensed plumber to complete the repair. We then tested the repair and the entire line to find it now secure. We sent our client a link to make a rebate from their water provider for some of the water charges incurred by a concealed leak.
