04 Apr Water Leak detection on new home built in Tarragindi
This morning we attended to house leak at a new home recently finished in Tarragindi, water was presenting at the rear of the property. Our builder client had his plumber attend previously but was unable to locate the leak.
A water meter test revealed a leak 2 litres per hour or 48 litres per day. (This was the smallest leak we have ever located given the standard leak is 30 times this leak.)
The owner and builder was on site and we introduced tracer gas into the line and subsequently found the leak being a pierced plastic cold water line in the external wall.
A number of holes were required to pin point this leak.
Our builder client was going to engage their plumber to effect the repair.
