Yesterday we attended to a leak detection of a unit in a retirement village in Raceview.

Our client identified structural movement in the property having failed a pest and build inspection .

Underpinning work is in progress and we were engaged to test the concealed plumbing and water supply.

We conducted a pressure test of the water supply, then tested the ensuite shower which located two leak sources.

After resealing these areas , we then conducted a CCTv inspection of the sewer and all downpipes checking their integrity.

We identified a major crack in the storm water drain and a number of other suspects connections requiring further evaluation.

We located each of the problem areas on the surface marking their location and determining the depth of the pipe.

We compiled a detailed report including photographs, access to CCTV files of all drains inspection and options going forward.

Trevor and Sam attended my property to detect and repair an underground water pipe leak. They were very professional and experienced with their work. They located the water leak under the concrete slab exactly where it was, using various radar tool and equipment. Once Sam identified the location of the possible leak, Trevor seconded it by doing his own verification. This allow them to neatly cut the concrete slab with precision, minimising any destructive work and damages. They replaced the faulty joints and retested the new connection with compressed air. They were also very meticulous in their work, testing and retesting several times to make sure there is no leak to the new joint, before backfilling it. Definitely gave me great confidence through the entire process, as their experience shows they know what they are doing. Well done guys. Great job!
