This afternoon we attended to a house leak in Middle Park, a water meter test indicated a leak of 6171 litres per day, a pressure test failed. After tracing the line we introduced compressed air which led us to an area under concrete at the front of the house.We then drilled a number of pilot holes before introducing more air and tracer gas to hone in on the leak location. We then quoted a repair price which was accepted before we concrete cut and removed a section of concrete before finding a failed 25 mm poly copper joiner. Our licensed plumber completed the repair before testing the repair and the entire line to fine it secure. We completed the clean up of the site and assisted our client to seek a rebate from their water provider.
