House water leak detection and repair – Alexandra Hills

This morning we attended a house leak in Alexandra Hills. A water meter test revealed a leak of 1694 litres. A pressure test failed. After tracing the line we introduced a combination of compressed air and tracer gas we located the general vicinity of the concealed leak. We excavated to locate a failed 25mm poly pipe. We completed the repair , then pressure tested the line before a final water meter test to find the line secure. We advised our client to contact his house insurer which proved to be fruitful as the leak detection costs are covered under our his insurance policy.
