House Leak detection and repair – Flinders View

This morning we attended to a house leak in Flinders View, a water meter test revealed a leak of 1585 litres per day, a pressure test of the line failed. After tracing the line we introduced compressed air and located the likely leak source under concrete below an outside tap. We drilled a pilot hole to further hone in on the leak location. We then quoted for the repair and after getting the go ahead, we removed a square section of concrete to locate a failed copper/poly joiner. Our licensed plumber completed the repair before we pressure the test the repair then the whole line to find it now secure. We advised our client to contact her insurer and assisted her to make a claim for a water rebate through their water provider.
