This afternoon we attended to a house leak in the The Gap , our client rang on behalf of her 90 year old mother who had water coming out of her driveway, a local plumber attended and suggested we come and locate the leak .

We conducted a water meter test which indicated a leak of 9600 litres per day.

After introducing a combination of compressed air and tracer gas we located the leak at the front of the house which fed an outside water tap.

We excavated to locate a rusty gal pipe. Our client had called the plumber to attend and discuss the options going forward.

Our client took our advice over the phone and contacted her insurance company which will cover our fees without having to pay an excess.

We will assist our client to seek a rebate from their water provider of the water charges caused by a concealed leak.
