This morning we attended to a swimming pool pre purchase inspection in Ashgrove. We tested all the concealed plumbing, namely the suction, return, solar in and solar out which resulted in a slight leak in the suction plumbing which is from the skimmer box back to the pump. We then hydrophoned the skimmer, 3 x return jets, main drain including the hydrostatic valve, light and solar jets. We then entered the pool and dye tested skimmer, 3 x return jets, main drain including the hydrostatic valve, light and solar jets. We noted the pool light cable was leaking and puttied up to make it secure. Finally we conducted an physical in pool examination of the pool walls and floor checking for any imperfections or cracks. We completed a report before phoning our client to give her a run down of the inspection with Options going forward including a price guide for the repairs
