23 Nov House leak detection – Redbank Plains
Yesterday we attended to a house leak in Redbank Plains , a water test revealed a leak of 696 litres per day, a pressure test on the line failed. After tracing the line we introduced compressed air and located the likely leak source under the air conditioner at the front of the house. Excavation revealed a large amount of water and the sound or air bubbling away (caused by the air coming out of the damaged section of pipe). The water line appears to go under some concrete footings of the house. We spoke to our client about the options available and suggested they do some excavation and re run the small section of line back to the water tap. This is the most effective option for our client.
