This afternoon we attended to a vinyl liner pool leak in The Gap. We hydrophoned and dye tested the skimmer box, return jet , solar in x 2 , solar out x 1 and light. We then used our Leak trac 2400 to test the integrity of the vinyl liner. We were directed to an area under the steps in the pool, we repositioned the steps to find a large hole in the vinyl floor. We dye tested this area to confirm it was the leak source. After patching the hole we re dye tested to find it now secure. These steps can be problematic in vinyl liner pools as they have besa blocks located inside and are a common source of leaks.
