This afternoon we attended to fibreglass pool leak in Eight Mile Plains. We tested the 5 way valve, pressure tested all concealed plumbing, put our Leak trac 2400 machine into the pool to test the fibreglass structure for leaks. We then used hydrophone microphone and dye tested all penetrations and noticebale imperfections in the shell as well as the skimmer box, main drain including the hydrostatic valve and returns jets.
We located an internal crack inside the return jet,. Dye was seen being draw into the crack. We puttied the inside of the jet and re dye tested to find it now secure.
