Yesterday we attended to a water leak in Albany Creek, a water meter test revealed a leak of 1152 litres per day. We conducted a pressure test which failed. We traced the line, introduced compressed air to locate the general vicinity of the leak to be close to the front external tap. We drilled a number of pilot holes to pin point the leak location, before cutting and removing a 500mm square section of concrete to locate a failed 25mm poly “T” piece . Our licensed plumber Sam completed the repair, before retesting the line to find it now secure. Our client was onsite and consulted throughout. We assisted our client in contacting his house insurer and making a water rebate claim through his water provider.
