Water leak detection on acreage property at Holmview

We recently attended to a house leak on acreage property in Holmview. Our client observed water on the level ground level some distance from the house. A water meter test revealed a leak of 1464 litres per day. We traced the line from the water meter around the back before it entered the house outside the kitchen which is a large paved and tiled area. After conducting a series of tests including compressed air and tracer gas we located the general vicinity of the leak close the grease trap under the pavers near the kitchen. Our client opted to remove the pavers himself to pin point the leak and arrange his local plumber to complete the repair.

Our client provided this feedback ” I sent you a photo of where the leak was coming from, it was the hose rubbing against the grease trap and it has eventually worn through, so your gas meter was right on the money of going off rapidly at that point, cheer’s.”
