We recently  attended to a house leak in Shailer Park, a plumber contacted us to attend and assist identifying the leak source. This was a complex plumbing configuration with two houses on the property, previous leaks which resulted in new plumbing installed. A water meter test and pressure test confirmed a leak of 4114 litres per day. After introducing both compressed air and tracer gas we identified a line feeding a garden tap as possibly being the leak source. Our client installed a shut off valve at the house which isolated the tap which stopped the leak. A far cheaper outcome than removing pavers and excavation of the driveway to repair the leak.
