Yesterday we attended to a house leak in Robertson, a water meter test revealed a leak of 5000 litres per day. A pressure test confirmed the line was not secure, after introducing a combination of compressed air and tracer gas we located the likely leak source being under a concrete path close to an outside tap. We removed a 600mm x 600mm square section of concrete and excavated down to find a failed copper/poly “T” piece located under the stormwater drain. Our licensed plumber Sam reconfigured the plumbing and then pressure tested the line to find it now secure.
