We then travelled to a house leak in Strathpine, our client phoned us late last night after receiving a phone call from their water provider advising them of a huge spike in water consumption. We conducted a water test to reveal a leak of 14,400 litres per day which is around $50 per day in water charges. After a series of tests we located the likely leak source under the driveway at the front of house. We drilled some pilot holes then introduced gas to confirm the location . We then quoted a repair cost , cut and removed a square section of concrete to locate a failed 16mm poly pipe. We completed the repair , re tested the line to find it now secure. We assisted our client in completing the water rebate application.
