We attended to a house leak in Alexandra Hills, a water meter test revealed a leak of 1600 litres per day. Our client noticed wetness on the front lawn, we had been to the property previously back in Jan 2019 and repaired a damaged section close to that location. We introduced compressed air and located the leak. We excavated down to confirm our original repair was in tact and this was another section of failed 25mm poly pipe. We completed the repair and retested the line to find it secure. We showed our client the water meter upon completion confirming the line was secure. We advised the client that should she have any further leaks in that location it would be in her best interests to have a new lead in installed rather than repairing the line again.
