We were requested to attend by one of our structural engineers who had previously attended to report on significant cracking inside the property. Our engineer want the drains be tested as a possible causation of the cracking. We entered all stormwater drains to reveal a series of damaged/cracked old earthenware drains, two of the drains were blocked and now require clearing before rectification works can commence. Our client was on site throughout and was involved in the inspection, we located each damaged/cracked section of drain on the surface, marking the location including the depth of the drain. A written report and a USB drive was provided.Our client provided an image of what was located in the drain. This highlights the damage tree roots can have on drains
