We recently  attended to a house leak on an 2.5 acreage property in Sherwood, a water meter test revealed a leak of 1400 litres per day. Given the size of the property and distance of the water line locating these types of leaks can be problematic. We traced the line and after introducing compressed air and tracer gas located the general vicinity of the leak under a rock retaining wall adjacent to the driveway. Our client who has a backhoe was going to remove the rocks to locate the leak and engage a local plumber to effect the repair .This is the most cost effective option for our client. We provided a concealed leak rebate form to our client for completion after the repair has been completed by a licensed plumber.
